An ideal location for exploring Hadrian’s Wall country, Dilston Cottage is 11 miles from Newcastle International Airport, less than a mile from Corbridge train station, 3 miles from Hexham and 18 miles from Newcastle.
Cottage lay out comprises: On the ground floor a lounge with a sofa bed and an open plan kitchen/diner. Travel cot and high chair available on request.
On the first floor a bedroom with super king size bed (or 2 single beds) as well as a single day bed (suitable for one child) and a bathroom with shower and a bath.
The Cottage has full gas central heating, bed linen and towels, and an enclosed garden with patio and outside table and chairs, barbecue and a secure storage area for bicycles.

Accommodation is for a maximum of 4 people, but we recommend 2 as a comfortable number. Lets are usually for a minimum of one week, but for short breaks of 3 nights minimum please contact us for prices.

A Beautifully appointed and designed cottage, we were greeted on arrival by swallows diving into the barn next door and the next morning we lay in bed watching them diving and swooping in the air. Lovely places to visit nearby too. All in all a wonderful stay , August 2025
Wild life ………….
An extremely comfortable cottage in a quiet and private setting. Our host was friendly and helpful. Very comfortable bed and modern bathroom. The kitchen equipment was very well thought out - there was absolutely everything we needed. The garden with outdoor table and chairs had a lovely view across the valley. You could stroll into Corbridge and there were rural walks from the front door. Altogether a very nice place to stay. March 2025
Excellent hosts...
We had a wonderful break staying in the lovely cottage. Ideal location only a 15 mins walk into the village of Corbridge. The cottage was beautiful and spotless, with all things we needed for our stay. Susie was a fabulous host and we would highly recommend staying here.
